Manila Pavillion: 2010 FIFA Cup

I'm not sure why football isn't in here in the Philippines when I could imagine our very own sepak takraw evolve into something so exciting as football. If it was an NBA game, it would have been a different story. As I mentioned before, I'm currently trying to make reservations at Shangri-la for hubby's birthday. I was informed that they're having an ongoing room rates promotion called Shangri-La Stopover. For stays until June 30, you can get discounted rates for high-end room at Shangri-la Makati, Edsa Shangri-la, Mactan Resort and Spa, and even Traders Hotel.

For a base price of Php8888++, you can stay at their executive suites with access to Horizon Club lounge amenities. For Edsa Shangri-la, their Executive Garden suite accommodation includes buffet breakfast for two at the Heat whereas Shangri-la Makati's Horizon Executive suite offers buffet breakfast at their Horizon Lounge... too bad as I was hoping it'll be breakfast at Circles. But the price 'aint that bad. It will fall less than Php11000net. You can also stay Shangri-la Mactan's Ocean Room Club room for Php8888++. Traders Hotel Manila, on the other hand, offers their executive suite for Php6888++. You have to book your reservations early as the promo is dependent on room availability.

Don't forget that this weekend there's another shopping sale... a bazaar at The Grove. Andanita Tagaytay: Birthday Promo

Next week would be my husband's birthday. For years, I'm having a hard time giving him gift on his big day since I've already lost most my savings on shopping and other personal indulgences. It's becoming an annual tradition for us as I try to make do with what I have left from all my spending. Initially, I planned to booking Crowne Plaza when they had their promo. But he insisted that he prefer to dine at Circles, Shangri-la Makati. Oh well, let just see.

VMV Hypoallergenics: up to 30% on SPF products

I bet everyone noticed how hot the days are getting.  Whenever we go out for lunch, the sun just burns my skin even with umbrella.  The heat is so intense that you feel like you're on a beach without any shade to run to.  My skin is dry without lotion/moisturizer.  And with this kind of weather, I just knew  I needed protection.That's why I've decided to get serious on using sunscreen.

I really wanted to buy VMV Armada as I love their product line.  I use their Creammy (I don't know how many 'm' it should have) Cleansing Milk every day and bought another product, a pore minimizer (forgot the name) for my husband.  Anyway, I was aiming to buy Armada Face and Body Shield with SPF60 (I don't have to bring 2 sunscreens everyday).  I've used it before and it was easy to apply, safe for the face and body with a high SPF cover; thing is, it's quite expensive. But I've heard they're having a 15% discount on their Armada products and 30% on all other SPF products for the whole month of May. Hmm, I might consider it now.
