Today is one GLORIOUS Friday! Its a month-end which translates to a payday. It's a long weekend as May 3 was just announced as a non-working holiday. Plus there's a lot of sale and promos out there!!!

We'll be dropping by Megamall for the 3-day mall-wide sale. Also, its the start of the SM Appliance Center appliance sale at the Megatrade Hall 3. The sale will run starting today until May 23, 2010. Flapjacks: Pancake All You Can

I remember last year when FlapJacks threw a Php1 pancakes (around three pcs per person, I think). It was their anniversary celebration, around April. Now they're having another promo again! All-You-Can-Eat-Pancakes from Mondays to Fridays, 7am to 10am. But its only available at their Greenbelt 2 branch. Such a disappointment, since I'm reporting to Ortigas.

Fresh Field @ Market Market: April Promo

I'm actually just learning how to cook... so far my husband is my only guinea pig. I've done mostly chicken dishes and now I miss eating seafood. I love seafood especially crabs! Then I learned that Fresh Field is having discounts on their seafood. They've had this for the whole month of April, I know its a bit late but the good thing is I still have two days to buy Alaskan crab legs for only Php152/100g!!! Gingersnaps & Just G: Warehouse sale

Every summer, feminine dresses are definitely a must-wear. That's why when I heard Just G is having warehouse sale, I just know I need to be there and shop till I drop. According to my sources, the warehouse sale is on from April 30 until June 5, 2010, except on Sundays and holidays. May 1 is a holiday so I guess I'll drop by next Saturday then.

Their address is at Warehouse 19, Armal Compound 2, M. Eusebio Avenue, San Miguel, Pasig City. I'll be needing google map to find it as I'm not familiar with the place. I know San Miguel, though so it's not that hard. Oh don't forget, Gingersnaps will also have their warehouse sale, same place, same dates. So my husband and I would find something for our nephew as well.

SM Megamall: 3-Day Sale

I really like it when big malls go on sale. Every stall has something good to offer and when a huge mall like SM Megamall has its 3-day sale, I make sure not to miss it!

This coming April 30, May 1 and May 2, SM Megamall is having another mall-wide sale so make sure to save up or hold on to your salary (month-end is a payday to a lot of us). Megamall will have extended mall hours on April 30 and May 1... they'll be open until 11pm during those days. They say you can get up to 70% off on selected items.

I usually go there in advance to scout the items I wanted and ask the sales ladies if its going to be on sale so I know where to go exactly on the day itself :)

Seven Suites: Global Star Party Lyrids Meteor Shower

It's Earth day today but do you know that this week, there's a Lyrids Meteor Shower too? Talk about appreciating not only Earth but the whole universe we live in, and the wonders of them all.

According to one onsite site, this phenomenon happens every April, every year as Earth passes through the dusty tail of Comet Thatcher, thus resulting to an annual meteor shower activity called Lyrids Meteor Shower. Forecasters expect 10 to 20 meteors per hour visible from dark-sky sites.
